The holiday season began for Sugar Sweet Events with the planning and design of a Christmas party for Argus Benefits. I love wedding planning, but it is also a treat to get to put on my "party planner" hat. This client wanted to create a "cozy and welcoming" vibe for their guests and Argus has an amazing office space at King Plow Arts Center so the venue alone gave me about a million ideas. We put a modern twist on traditional holiday decor and got a party that was sure to be remembered by all!
To begin, the outside of the office was decorated to resemble freshly fallen snow.
We put a S'mores station outside (complete with fire pit!) for guests to enjoy.
There was a super tasty caviar station, complete with vodka ice luge. The vodka was served in carved ice shot glasses.
The front door was awesome!
Inside the party:
Do you think we were ready for a party? :)
We did really fun favors for the end of the night, by filling glass Argus mugs with litte bags of cocoa mix, marshamallows and a candy cane.
I have so many vendors to thank! Bold American Catering for their great food and service, the very creative Andy Beach of Genesis Event Design, Valerie Levin with Creative Tables for her beautiful linens, Michael B. for his fantastic skills on the piano, Cooper Music, Cool Daddy's/Hot Mamma's for the amazing hot drink station, and Ice Sculpture Inc. for their great work on the ice luge. It was such a pleasure!
I also have to thank Kent, Lindsey, and Kim. It would not have happened without you guys! :)

I love the s'mores station! It makes me wish it were winter now . . . almost.
