Sugar Sweet Events is proud to be featured in the Fall 2007 Daily Candy Wedding Guide!  I have been a fan of Daily Candy since I heard about it on the Isaac Mizrahi Show, and I am so jazzed that we were chosen.  Daily Candy is a great way to find out about new products, fun restaurants, and all kinds of hidden treasures, whether you chose the Candy specifically for your city or the Daily Candy Everywhere guide. The article focuses on our "day of" service, however we are pleased to offer every level of service, from "day of" to full service planning.  I would like to thank the editors at Daily Candy for including us in the guide;  it was a great way to start the morning!

Real Wedding: Lauren & Jared

Lauren and Jared were married this summer at the King Plow Event Gallery in West Midtown.  I personally love having weddings at this venue, for its hip, funky vibe and the incredible space that the events are held in.   Lauren had a fantastic team of professionals and it was great to work with some of our favorite vendors such as Tulip Blooming Creations and Bold American Catering.  Everything about the wedding was just gorgeous, and I was really inspired by the little details that were included, such as Lauren carrying roses from her father's garden in her bouquet and Jared giving all of his groomsmen Converse sneakers to change into for the reception.  It really was a fresh and fun wedding, and I'm so happy to have been involved.  Thank you, Lauren and Jared!

It's been entirely too long!

I've been getting emails lately from some of the readers of my blog and I realized that it has been over a month since I last updated!  I apologize to everyone, and promise to stay on top of the blog.  We have been overwhelmed lately with events, and I don't know that I will get a break in before February! :)  Lots of things have been happening for Sugar Sweet Events, and I can't wait to share everything.  Stay tuned!
